ACTOR | EDUCATOR | CONSERVATIONIST
ACTOR | EDUCATOR | CONSERVATIONIST
I am a classically-trained actor who believes that every being has a story to tell.
I have dedicated my life offstage to helping children and teens cultivate their own voices through the magic of theater, and learning from the source—whether it be elephants or their caregivers in Thailand. I believe that education and understanding are key to a fair and beautiful world for everyone, and am committed to using my knowledge, experiences, and insight to empower others to share theirs.
I was born in Columbia, SC and will always call this home, but I’ve also felt at home when I trained at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and worked in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
My favorite role I have ever played is Imogen in William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline because she spends the entire show on an epic journey. She escapes into the forests and fights in battles and stands up to the King, all so she can claim her own voice and her own destiny. She never once looked back or questioned her value; she fights for her beliefs.
My proudest accomplishment so far in my career is interviewing Phillippe Cousteau for Riverbanks Roundup and SCETV, and I look forward to continuing to do more work like this for a long, long time. I was able to bring local South Carolina Students into the spotlight as they showed a world renowned conservationist their accomplishments in river clean up efforts.
Currenlty, you can see me on stage in South Carolina, or on TV hosting Money Matters for WIS TV.
